Reflection

Reflection, one of the major guideline to life improvement. In fact, among the  three methods of gaining wisdom. The first is reflection, which happens to be the highest. The second is limitation, which is the easiest. And the third is the experience, which  is the bitterest. Reflection simply put ' serious thought or consideration'. But in more elaborate point, is the art of pondering on one's virtues and faults. It is the ability to reflect on the "here and now", on your feelings and thoughts. This also includes reflecting on the thoughts, emotions and the feelings of others, which will help improve oneself as you assess and reflect upon the decisions you made in life. Use your reflections as an opportunity to make profound and a constructive or positive change in your life. This may require letting go of some people and retaining others. This will depend greatly on the outcome of your reflections, also on the accuracy and intuitive feelings of these reflections.

Life itself offers us the chance of checks and balances, that's why life is in phases. Time for laughter and cry, to sow and to reap, to born and to die. In all, life always leave a lesson to be learnt by those who reflects.

When you reflect, you simply take a retrospect of your life actions. You check the path in which you've pass through, the turns you had taken, where you are coming from and where you seems headed to as a result of the path and turns you've taken. Reflection gives you the opportunity to see if you were better in yesterday or improved of it. It helps you to see if your decisions of today did robbed you off yesterday joy.

As you reflect, you shouldn't fail to ask certain questions; Where is my life going? What do i want life to be like in 10 years (removing all fantasy and projection of anything material from your thoughts and get to the substance of life experience)? What might God be trying to teach me? Am I growing spiritually? What moments in life have been the most pleasurable and God honoring? If I was to make the gutsiest choice that could benefit my life and family more what would that choice be?

One thing about reflection, its never concludes without offering a solution, the only problem is, will you abide to it?

Reflect on this.
