Recall recently he was at Osun state with the same agenda, which they were greeted by large crowd of sympathizers. CP Hakeem Odumosu Swift Action During Oshodi Chaos

There was pandemonium today in Lagos, within Oshodi axis. Traders and passerby fled for safety as security men were seen assaulting people and damaging properties, especially commercial vehicles as alleged by eyewitness report.  The story making rounds has it that an Air Force personnel was killed within the axis yesterday. So the security men came today to avenge the death of their colleague. The Lagos police spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, has released statement on the Oshodi crisis. Though the statement did not say for sure the cause of the crisis, “We are aware of the conflict that occurred at Capa Park/Mosafejo Oshodi Lagos today Thursday, May 20, 2021 around 7.am. Normalcy has since been restored to the area." It is no longer news that Cross River State Governor Prof. Ben Ayade has cross carpeted from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressive Party (APC). He made the announcement on Thursday in his Calabar office after meeting with APC governors led by the party's interim chairman Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State. According to the DailySUN report, t he governor cited Cross River as being emasculated economically and so needed to return back to the scheme on federal level, reason for his defection. He also cited personality of President Buhari and his commitment for the country's development as other reason, and he believes joining hands with the president would be better for the country. Recently the governors of the southern region of Nigeria met in Delta state to discuss the security issues beleaguering the region.  They arose after the meeting and issued a communiqué that contained among other requests/suggestions to the federal government, they issued a ban on open grazing of animals in the region. However, this ban did not settle well with some Nigerians especially of Northern extracts, who has also openly shared their displeasure over the ban. Yesterday, Nigeria's Attorney-General was on Channels TV programme 'Politics Today' said the Southern governors ban is constitutionally illegal, and so does not hold water. Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu the prime minister of Israel have spoken with the foreign ambassadors in Tel Aviv about the conflict between Israel and Palestine, and Israeli stance. He shared this information on his twitter handle.  As the conflict in the Gaza strip between Israeli forces and the Palestinian Hamas led militia escalates, causing more casualties of human lives and properties. Niger State Boiling, No Fewer Than 25 Killed By Bandits

Report according to Daily Sun says, barely 24 hours after negotiations between armed bandits and some communities in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, no fewer than 25 members of neighbouring communities have been killed by armed bandits. The killer bandits went away with about 50 members of the communities, mostly women and children in the attack which lasted over three hours, after killing about 25 people mostly men, while 30 others were seriously injured.   According to source close to one of the communities, the bandits, numbering about 100 invaded the villages in Kwaki in Kurebe/Kushaka Ward of Shiroro LGA on Monday morning to unleash terror on the people for their refusal to attend a meeting which was held on Sunday, a day before the attack. THE National Association of Nigeria (NANS) has called on Sunday Adeyemo, aslo known as Sunday Igboho, to employ dialogue and consultations with relevant stakeholders to find lasting solutions to the activities of herdsmen in the South West. Addressing journalists, yesterday, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, NANS Chairman/Ogun Joint Campus Committee, Kehinde Simeon, urged Adeyemo to liaise with the appropriate authorities to find a solution to the crisis and not “to set the entire South West on fire and cause anarchy.” Simeon also called on the state government to consider the registration of herdsmen within the borders of Ogun State, ban open grazing and fast track the inauguration of Amotekun corps to further combat insecurity around schools in the state. “We understand Igboho, but it is our view that he should meet with Yoruba leaders, Afenifere and other stakeholders. COVID-19: FG DECLARES KOGI HIGH RISK, WARNS CITIZENS
