2019 POLLS: Winner Takes It All

The statements credited to the two main political party's presidential candidate  of APC and PDP proves Nigeria is yet to be delivered from nepotistic governance. 

While President Buhari during the appointment of the new minister of environment said, "I'll reward those who work hard and loyal to my victory in the 2019 polls."

Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate assures reward to his colleagues in the PDP that contested alongside him the party slot for the presidential poll.

The two forgets or have never believed once a president is for all. You seizes to be for party A or B, but of a President of A and B. Neither A or B should feel neglected or abandoned.

This becoming attitude of political parties in Nigeria especially those in power is worrisome. It does not allow democracy to flourish, as it slaughters merit on the alter of sycophancy.

THERESA MAY will today warn a new Brexit referendum would cause “irreparable damage” — after her key aides were forced to deny plotting one. Barricaded Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Opened

The barricaded Sagamu end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has been opened for commuters. The Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mr Adedamola Kuti told journalists during the opening on Tuesday that the barricaded section was opened to ease traffic during the festive period. He said, "the gridlock experienced on the road necessitated the removal of the barricades." He also noted that work will resume on the road as quickly as possible in January so the contractors could maximise the window offered by the dry season.
