Breaking: Borno On Fire, Soldiers and Boko Haram In Gun Battle

There is pandemonium in the small village of Molai, a 4km distance off Maiduguri, the capital city of Borno State, Nigeria. The heavy gun battle between the the Nigerian Army and member of the Islamist group, Boko Haram has left everyone running for their lives.

An eye-witness told Thecable that the Nigerian Army has mobilized troops to repel the insurgents who struck yesterday.

The small village has witnessed a little respite in the last two months, but was yesterday returned into the days of uncertainty when the dreaded insurgents struck.
