Ex President Jonathan Responsible For President Buhari's Delay In Forming Cabinet

There may be no end in the blaming of ex President Jonathan for any failure of the President Buhari led administration. 

This morning on Channels TV Sunrise programme, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, said Jonathan did not submit handover notes to Buhari until 48 hours before his departure.

The SSA said, "the outgoing administration in 2015 did not cooperate with the transition committee, and so, that President Buhari took 166 days to form a cabinet is absolutely untrue.

“The President was given handover notes 48 hours to the handover of power and for whatever reason, the President at that time determined that two governments would not operate at the same time.”

Barricaded Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Opened

The barricaded Sagamu end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has been opened for commuters. The Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, Mr Adedamola Kuti told journalists during the opening on Tuesday that the barricaded section was opened to ease traffic during the festive period. He said, "the gridlock experienced on the road necessitated the removal of the barricades." He also noted that work will resume on the road as quickly as possible in January so the contractors could maximise the window offered by the dry season.
